This was taken in March 2006, at one of the atols near Bahrain. There are so many things I love about this picture: the way our scarves were floating with the wind, the lonely bird flying above us, the cargo ship in the distance that looks like a village, the emptiness surrounding us, the way our feet are in synch...
I don’t know what Sheyma and I were talking about while we walked, but I am sure it was something awesome. We always have awesome conversations. I love this picture.

Essa foto o Anis fez em Março de 2006, em um dos atols perto de Bahrain. Tantas coisas eu amo nessa foto: a maneira que nossos lenços voavam com o vento na mesma direção, o passaro solitário no voando sobre nós, o navio cargo lá longe parecendo uma cidade, o vazio a nossa volta, nossos passos sincronizados...
Eu não lembro sobre o que Sheyma e eu falavamos ao caminhar, mas tenho certeza que era sobre algo incrívelmente interessante. Nós sempre falamos sobre algo incrivelmente interessante. Eu amo essa foto.
